Contributions to Montanans for Tester are not tax deductible. An individual may contribute a maximum of $3,300 per election (the primary and general are separate elections). By submitting your contribution, you agree that the first $3,300 of your contribution is designated for the 2024 primary election, and any additional amount up to $3,300 is designated for the 2024 general election. The allocation for funds raised under this Agreement before the 2024 primary election for U.S. Senate in Montana shall be as follows: The first $6,600 of each contribution from a person will be allocated to Montanans for Tester. The first $3,300 will be designated for use in the primary election, and the remaining $3,300 will be designated for use in the general election. The next $10,000 of each contribution from a person and the first $5,000 from a multicandidate committee (“PAC”) will be allocated to the Montana Democratic Party. The next $41,300 of each contribution from a person and the next $15,000 from a PAC will be allocated to the DSCC. All contributions in excess of these amounts, up to the legal limits, will be allocated to the DSCC’s headquarters fund and/or legal defense fund. A contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant. The allocation formula above may change if following it would result in an excessive contribution.
Contributions or gifts to NARAL Pro-Choice Montana are not tax deductible as charitable contributions or as business expenses under IRC Section 162(e).
