Winning every race on this list could help flip six legislative chambers and prevent a gerrymandering blowout in two more. So, let's get to work!

This list includes the DLCC, which is important for winning and holding state legislatures around the country, and also includes specific candidates whose seats I believe are highly pivotal. These individual candidates include Democrats running for a state legislature that currently has a narrow Republican majority, and who are running in districts the Republican candidate won by 3 percent or less in the district's most recent election. This list also includes candidates for the Texas House of Representatives, any and all gains there being vital to giving Democrats at least one veto pivot in the upcoming redistricting process, running in districts that meet the same criterion. I have also included some races in Florida because, while Florida is going to Florida, you've got to start somewhere. Overall, this list includes targeted asks for candidates in Arizona, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

Giving to the DLCC is highly efficient, as their track record is excellent and they have better data than us mere mortals on how and where to spend. Giving to individual candidates is less important but may help cover some costs that go unnoticed by larger organizations.
