H.R. 1955, the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Act of 2007, recently passed the U.S. House of Representatives on a vote of 404 to 6, with 22 members failing to vote. Three Democrats and three Republicans voted against this sick piece of fascist legislation. The three Democrats who voted against the bill are Representatives Abercrombie, Costello, and Kucinich. This site is an opportunity to thank those few Democrats who will stand up against police state enabling laws such as H.R. 1955.
