Al Weed is a progressive leader fighting in a rural district in southern Virginia. Al is a 42 year military veteran. He served as a green beret in Vietnam, and continued to serve up to our recent military action in Bosnia, where he was Command Sargeant Major in support of Special Operations. For 33 years he has been a farmer in Nelson County, after founding Virginia's first modern Vineyard. Most importantly, Al is not a career politician. He wants to change the way Washington works.
