California Notes for Alyson

The other day I received a great mailer from Alyson Huber. She is a candidate for the 10th Assembly District, and though most of the mailers that get reported on are very negative, this mailer is nothing but positive. It is a bit unusual, but I want to highlight this positive campaign.

Alyson’s positive approach to this campaign is an outgrowth of the positive attitude with which she has faced the obstacles and challenges that have been a part of her life. Positive is the way in which Alyson will approach the challenges she will be faced with as an Assemblymember, and it is about time that the negativity so prevalent in Sacramento is diffused with some positive energy that looks toward common sense solutions and isn’t focused solely on the problems.

To be sure, there are serious problems facing California, but the solutions lie, not in a negative, problem focused approach, but in a positive, common sense, solution oriented attack that moves California forward and gives every Californian an opportunity for a better life.
