Andrea is a passionate advocate for a strong and unapologetic Democratic Party. She will work to bring our troops home safely to their families, and protect our Constitution against those who would prefer to shred it and gather support to pass HR 676. For the past year Andrea has worked hard for impeachment. While Andrea is opposed to the Iraq occupation she supports improved veterans services in healthcare, education, insurance and housing.

As an educator, Andrea recognizes the need for quality education for all students (rich and poor) and the need to bridge and eradicate the digital divide. She views technology and renewable energy as the path to return the American economy to a peace economy rather than a war-based economy.

With a wealth of farmland in the 4th District, Andrea is greatly concerned with the use of bio fuels. Burning food for fuel potentially creates a problem with our food supply, damages the integrity of our farmland and only provides 20% more energy.
