Grassroots Gala (8:00 – 11:00 pm)
Celebrating the Grassroots! Guests attending this distinctively stylish gala celebration will enjoy a five-star selection of sushi, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and a partial open bar while listening to live jazz performed by world-class musicians.
General Admission - $125 per ticket
SAFO, FFO, CAFO, AAFO and other groups – $100 per ticket
Students – $75 per ticket
Bollywood Afterparty (midnight to closing)
Featuring Ashu Rai and DJ Bobby, Resident DJs for the NYC-based Desilicious parties. A cash bar will be available for revelers until closing.
General Admission - $50 per ticket
Students and Group Rate – $25 per ticket
Asian American Civic Project VIP Cocktail Reception (5:00 – 7:30pm)
The Asian American Civic Project – an APAP-sponsored initiative designed to encourage and increase the number of Asian Americans serving in politics – will be sponsoring a cocktail reception with various AAPI elected officials, civic leaders, community activists, and celebrities. Guests attending this exclusive reception will enjoy a five-star selection of sushi, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and a full open bar.

For people who purchase tickets to the Bollywood Afterparty, feel free to come a little early. At 11:30 pm, Kajal Mehta from the renowned dance troupe, Dhoonya Dance, will be giving free bhangra lessons! So come party with your friends and learn a few cool dance moves!
OTHER EVENT INFORMATION:
1. Attire - The attire for this event is Formal/Semi-Formal/Cocktail Attire.
2. Parking - Parking will be extremely limited. Guests are encouraged to consider other modes of transportation. Perry's Restaurant in Adams Morgan is accessible via metro (Woodley Park Metro on the red line). Limited valet service may be available for VIPs. 3. Dining – Seating will be limited. For the VIP Cocktail pre-gala Reception and the Grassroots Gala, cuisine will be presented through a combination of sushi/hors d’oeuvres/dessert stations and passed hors d’oeuvres. The Pre-Gala VIP Cocktail Reception will include an open bar and the Gala will include a partial open bar (wine and beer). For the After-Party, a cash bar will be available and light fare will be provided.
