Bob Casey is running against Rick Santorum, the extremely right-wing scary current Senator. Here’s a quote from Rick Santorum’s website:
“A leader on the issue of traditional marriage, Rick supports a constitutional amendment protecting marriage as that of a union between a man and woman. Activist judges in some areas of the United States have taken this matter into their own hands, and Rick believes that a constitutional amendment is necessary to preserve this important foundation of our society.”
Rick Santorum has been one of the most vocal homophobic intolerant haters who has professed the comparison of homosexuality to that of beastiality and polygamy.
This man doesn’t deserve to be in the U.S. Senate and has done nothing but rubber-stamp the George Bush/Dick Cheney/Donald Rumsfield trio that got us into the Iraq mess.
I urge you to contribute to Bob Casey’s campaign. If we all give just $10-25, we can get rid of this hater, and put someone in the U.S. Senate who will serve as a much-needed check and balance on the Bush Administration.
