<blurb>As we draw to the closing weeks of this year&#39;s upcoming elections in November, I am inspired and heartened by all the people who have organized for change. Blogs such as the Daily Kos and groups like ActBlue and Move On have given me cause for guarded hope. Among the many, many disparate and equally hard working voices for progressive change, they have been for me the unifying water bearers for those thirsting for reason and sense in our political wasteland.

There is one thing left to do and that is to take up fully the mantle of our citizenship and cast our votes in November.

So donate your time and money, if not here then where your cause lies.

Above all please vote for a Democratic change in November.</blurb>

<pageblurb>Wesley Clark is a man who makes sense. He is out there putting his time and energy into raising money for Democratic candidates. I want to help him in this final push for the November elections. The momentum is on our side.

We need to go in a new direction in this country, a direction tempered by experience, grounded in honesty, and fueled by the energy of hope.

So be a Blues Cat! Join me in helping Wesley Clark raise money for Democratic candidates who can take our country in a new direction.

<pageblurb>I exiled myself from Texas when George Bush became Governor. After the great Ann Richards, it was heartbreaking to see someone the antithesis of her caring and compassion take that office. Let&apos;s make Texas blue again for Ann Richard&apos;s sparkling blue eyes, for Willie Nelson&apos;s <i>Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain</i>, for the Texas bluebonnet, and for those endless blue skies of hope that stretch from Texarkana to El Paso, from the Panhandle to the Valley and beyond.</pageblurb>

<pageblurb>Howard Dean was the first political shot sounded around the Internet world. His supporters launched a new revolution in activism and political participation. His was the idea, his was the school for a 50 state push, a school of blues for red state misery. </pageblurb>
