Music for Democracy invites you to help us launch our new Get Out the Vote (GOTV) initiative & <b'>Be the Change, this Sunday, October 12th in New York City.

With Wall Street in economic turmoil, Music for Democracy has proposed an economic stimulus package for this Sunday's fundraiser event in New York. "We're releasing 100 pairs of tickets at $55 per pair to provide economic relief to fans of Vampire Weekend and Crosby & Nash to enjoy our intimate event at St. Raphael's Catherdral on Sunday," said Music for Democracy executive director Mitch Manzella, "These tickets will not be available at the door, they are only available through our online ticketing system."
The night will kick off with an exclusive reception for sponsors and VIP donors, followed by intimate, short acoustic sets by the artists for all Music for Democracy supporters. The event will also feature a panel discussion with Q&A on music and political activism hosted by Air America’s David Bender, and featuring Democracy for America Chair Jim Dean

All proceeds go to Music for Democracy’s Be the Change GOTV Campaign.
