Jack Billion is a progressive candidate who really has a chance to win in this very red state that is fed up with its leadership. He's a South Dakota native, a U.S. Air Force Veteran, and a physician. He is a former state legislator, chairman of the Minnehaha County Democratic Party and has been an active democrat for many years. Jack has been running a grassroots campaign based on open and honest government, improving the education and health care system(s) in South Dakota, and developing the economy and alternative energy in the state. Jack has also been a vocal opponent to the unconstitutional abortion ban passed by the incumbent. This bill is the most extreme abortion ban signed into law in the United States. It takes away a womanâs right to choose by criminalizing abortions even in instances of rape, incest and where the health of the mother is in danger. Jack Billion believes that these are choices that must be made by a woman and her doctor and not Mike Rounds and his ideological bedfellows.
