Together we can defeat Dave Weldon. We are firmly convinces that Steve will win when we get the message out to all the voters about how Steve will represent us instead of the special interests.
But this effort will take a thousand volunteers starting with us who have already signed up to help Steve plus several hundred thousand dollars. It can and will be done.
The ‘08 election’s only 11 months away. Our field team’s put together a plan for our biggest election get-out-the-vote program ever—but if we want to build it, we need to raise $200,000 to get it rolling now. Can you contribute $15 a month, now through the election?

We can do the same for Steve –starting today.
What we can do now:
1. Volunteer one hour a week to elect Steve Blythe to Congress including one hour a month to meet the 25 households with one or more registered Democrat or No party affiliated voter living on your street.
2. Sign up today to donate $15 every month for the next 11 months to our campaign to defeat Dave Weldon or send in a $100 donation today.
3. Send this message to every Democrat (Dem), No Party affiliated (Npa) and anti-Weldon Republican voter acquaintance. Ask them to sign up for monthly donations and volunteer one hour or more every month.
Steve needs to raise $50,000 by December 31, 2007 in order to PROVE to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the Democratic National Committee, the Florida Democratic Party, the Progressive Patriots Fund and other progressive political action committees that Steve is a serious candidate and worth investing in his campaign.
The importance of early money cannot be over emphasized. Early Money Is Like Yeast (EMILY) because every dollar donated today will generate three or more dollars by Election Day from:
• The DNC, DCCC and other official Democratic organizations
• From PAC’s such as the Progressive Patriots Fund
• Regular Democratic donors and Republicans living within the District.
Howard Dean in 2003 raised over $100,000 (average donation $60) in FL-15 from hundreds of supporters like you.
Steve will work to stop the war, to save Social Security, to bring jobs back to America, to save our environment, to support education, to support a fair taxing system, to cut the $600 billion in medical expenses now going to the insurance companies – and to expose Weldon for what he is: an apologist for Bush, for the super wealthy, and for the international corporations.
