Out of all the worthy candidates in this year’s midterm elections, I have selected ten for my own contributions. I have picked each of these candidates for a different reason. Some, like Deval Patrick, I view as rising Democratic stars who should be encouraged. Others are running for seats I believe would be a real coup for the Party, like Harold Ford and the Tennessee Senate seat.
Still others, like Bill Winter, Chris Carney, and Phil Angelides, are running against Republican incumbents who are a disgrace to the American political process.
All are outstanding candidates. All have a great shot at winning. None are “Netroots Endorsed” as of now; I specifically wanted to pick candidates that aren’t getting quite as much love on the Intertron.
