He's running against a first termer who we need to defeat in this Democratic year before she becomes a household name and tries to contest for statewide office. Peter Goldmark is the man to do it: he is a plain talking rancher and volunteer firefighter who will take a lead on the environment in a way that our ranchers and farmers can understand like breaking our oil dependency by making biofuels economically feasible.
