The Coalition for Change (CFC) is an independent Capital District New York grassroots political action group that supports progressive candidates for office such as Barack Obama for President.

The CFC is not authorized by any candidate campaign or any political party and acts independently of them.

Board members of the CFC who also are involved with any other political campaigns are acting independently of any campaigns they are involved with.

Since January 2008, CFC's Albany for Obama Campaign funded and supported an all volunteer effort to elect our new president. From our office we made over 130,000 phone calls by over 1,000 volunteers, sent hundreds of volunteers to key swing states for the Barack Obama campaign, raised over $50,000 for the National Campaign, and sent hundreds of letters to undecided voters, and registered over 2,000 new voters.

A donation to Coalition for Change helps us continue our work here in New York to help elect other local progressive candidates as our president cannot do it alone!
