Cheney's Chum Challenge

Dick Cheney made a special trip to California's 3rd Congressional District on April 11 to fundraise for his old pal, and Dr. Bill Durston's opponent, Rep. Dan Lungren. Cheney and Lungren asked an estimated 200 attendees for $2,300 apiece - a total of $460,000 - at the event. Lungren called Cheney "one of the finest public servants I've known in my lifetime" and stated, "I believe in the policies that he is most involved with."
