Gov. Chris Gregoire D.C. Happy Hour

Please join me for a happy hour to welcome Gov. Chris Gregoire (D-WA) to the ‘other’ Washington. As you know, Chris has been an incredible governor for Washington State and has been a national leader on many important issues, including climate change and children’s healthcare.

In 2004, Chris won the gubernatorial election by 133 votes—the closest in Washington State history. This year, she faces the same well funded opponent and the same ugly tactics. It’s our job to make sure this great Democrat and inspiring woman gets reelected. Lucky for us, this day’s work includes drinking a pint!

We will also be joined by the fabulous Gregoire daughters, Courtney and Michelle. The happy hour will double as Michelle’s going-away party as she heads off to join her mom on the campaign trail.
