I believe in Ethan !

I’ve come to believe in Ethan Strimling as the voice Maine needs in the US House….not just because he has been walking the walk of a non-profit leader for the past 10 years where he has experienced the reality of disenfranchised youth and experienced the day-to-day struggles of low income families; not just because he has fought hard to find the funding and pass the RIGHT legislation for Mainers who need our homeless shelters, for Maine women and children who need protection from domestic viloence and for families and individuals who need access to mental health and substance abuse services BUT also because I believe he is a realist about what Maine needs for a STRONG future; His attempt to craft a tax reform package with Republican Dick Nass was called crazy by some, while I’ve come to call it political courage- the courage to try to break the partisan logjam; the wisdom to know that without a fair tax policy that can prime the economic development pump there can’t be a STRONG, BRIGHT future for Maine. Let’s send one of us- a regular Mainer- to Washington!
