Next Monday, October 13, 2008, we will share an extraordinary experience.

Former President Bill Clinton is coming to Houston to headline a fundraising reception on behalf of Chris Bell, Democratic candidate for Texas Senate, District 17.

Our good friend Bernard Rapoport, joins me as Honorary Chairman of this reception.

We all know the importance of this election and appreciate the competence and promise that Chris Bell brings to this senate district and to our state as a leader.

This will be the last fundraising event in Houston before the election at which we have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Former President Bill Clinton. The many of us that have had the experience of being around him know how enjoyable, interesting and affirming the experience can be.
