Ed Perlmutter, well known in the district due to his experience as a state legislator, is running a great campaign against an extreme Republican who wants to eliminate Social Security. Some recent polls have shown him well ahead of his opponent, but the attack ads against Ed have started, and the gap has narrowed. Perlmutter has less cash on hand than would be ideal at this point, due mostly to an expensive primary. Every donation, no matter how small, will help him win this seat for the Democratic Party.
