Jay Fawcett

CO-05 (Map)

Jay Fawcett is on the verge of riding the perfect storm to victory in Colorado’s conservative 5th District. Jay is the strongest Democratic candidate ever fielded for this seat. He’s exceptionally hard-working, has deep roots in the community as an Air Force Academy graduate and teacher, understands the needs of military personnel and veterans in this strongly military community, and is willing to take on the excesses of the religious right wing in Colorado Springs.
Jay’s opponent, ultra-conservative religious-right State Senator Doug Lamborn, ran such a sleazy primary campaign that the Republican incumbent (Joel Hefley, who is retiring) refused to endorse him. Other high-profile Republicans in the district are going a step further, and endorsing Jay.
Jay Fawcett can win this seat.

Bill Winter

CO-06 (Map)

Bill Winter is taking on xenophobic nutcase Tom Tancredo in District 6. Bill is a veteran with a long record of public service in the Marines, the Navy, and as a high school science teacher and football coach. He also has firsthand experience of the health care crisis: he’s a kidney donor who is now uninsurable. Bill’s history is transparent: he’s extraordinarily dedicated to serving his country and his community.
Tancredo is more vulnerable than ever this year, because even the Republican Party views his xenophobia with disdain, and isn’t offering much assistance. Help Bill Winter send Tancredo home to Colorado.

Angie Paccione

CO-04 (Map)

Angie Paccione is not only an inspiring candidate and campaigner, not only a state representative with a great track record, not only dedicated to serving the 4th District, she’s the candidate who’s going to retire Marilyn Musgrave (who, by the way, is none of those things). Polling in the district shows Angie tied with Musgrave—a great place for a challenger to be entering the last month of the campaign.
Musgrave is not well-liked overall in the 4th District. If Paccione has the resources to reach 4th District voters, she will win. Let’s make sure she does.

Image of Ed Perlmutter

Ed Perlmutter

CO-07 (Map)

The 7th District, currently “served” by Both-Ways Bob Beauprez, is an open seat that is widely accepted to be one of the likely seats that Democrats will claim to take back the U.S. House of Representatives.
Ed Perlmutter, well known in the district due to his experience as a state legislator, is running a great campaign against an extreme Republican who wants to eliminate Social Security. Some recent polls have shown him well ahead of his opponent, but the attack ads against Ed have started, and the gap has narrowed.
Perlmutter has less cash on hand than would be ideal at this point, due mostly to an expensive primary. Every donation, no matter how small, will help him win this seat for the Democratic Party.
