<pageblurb>Bill Winter, a Colorado native and a Marine Corps and Navy veteran, is running on much more than the fact that he is not the hateful incumbent, Tom Tancredo. For starters, Bill is running on unity, on the idea that the people of Colorado’s 6th Congressional District have more in common than in difference. Bill believes that the fear which the president has used, coupled with the hate that the incumbent Congressman has used serve only to divide people in the 6th District as well as across the country. Bill Winter will serve as a real uniter by listening to the needs of all the people of the 6th District, the people who have been his neighbors since he was 14 years old. Bill Winter is also running on the ideal of service, that as a member of Congress, he will be a true public servant, and not use his position as a stepping stone to any higher aspirations. Bill knows the inner workings of Washington D.C. As a law student and early in his career as an attorney, Bill has had the opportunity to debate the likes of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, clerk for a Federal District Court Judge, hold a job in the Justice Department and work on the Commerce committee staff of U.S. Senator John McCain. He has also served his community as a science teacher and High-School football coach. As a Congressman, Bill Winter will do his utmost to ensure that the needs, hopes and dreams of the people of Colorado’s 6th District, his neighbors, will be realized and met

<pageblurb>Rep. Morgan Carroll was first elected by the voters of Colorado House District 36 in 2004 and won with significant bi-partisan support. She quickly established herself as a leader at the Capitol and was appointed Vice Chair of the Judiciary Committee, as well as to the Business Affairs, Labor, Ethics, Interim Auto Insurance, and Trade & Transportation Committees. She is one of the hardest-working members of the Colorado House of Representatives and maintains a closed-door policy with regard to lobbyists. But she is always easily accessible to her constituents. She was voted a Rising Star of the Colorado Democratic Party in 2005, received the Excellence in Service Award from the National Guard Foundation, and was named critic's choice for Best Local Politician by the Aurora Sun Sentinel. She has had perfect attendance in the House and has never missed a vote.

Morgan has fought for homeowner's and private property rights, assistance for active-duty troops and veterans, for health care and insurance reform and patients' rights, for better more efficient government, workers' rights, alternatives to litigation, lobby reforms, economic recovery and fiscal responsibility.

Rep. Carroll is a second generation Colorado native and a small business owner. She is a consumer and civil rights attorney fighting for individual rights in a local mother-daughter law firm. Rep. Carroll received all of her education from the Colorado Public School system (K-12, CU-Denver - Psychology, CU-Boulder - Law) and is committed to the educational success of every child in Aurora and in Colorado. </pageblurb>
