Ronnie Musgrove was an ardent supporter of public education while in office as Governor. His opposition is an empty suit Republican Roger Wicker, hand selected by Haley Barbour. Roger was the "king of pork" in the House, now he wants to dig into the coffers of the U.S. Senate. Wicker's revolving door has spun in circles during his 16 year stint as the lobbyist sponsored Representative of Mississippi's First Congressional District.
