I have spent years watching him relate to his family, friends, church, students, athletes and every one else imaginable down to the gas station attendant. There has never been a time when I wasn't proud to call him my Dad. He is the kind of person that people can talk to and confide in. Growing up with him as a father was a lot like having Andy Griffith as a Dad. He was always easy to talk to, calm and loving but never compromised his beliefs or principals in order to be my "friend". He takes his roll as father, husband, teacher and coach seriously and with pride. I know that he will make a great Congressman.
