Hello friends,
I am reaching out to you today because I need your help. As you most likely know by now, my dad is running for Governor in 2008, and in order to make this journey a success I am asking you to support me and the trust I have in my dad.
I will be honest, I don’t know too much about politics, but I do know a thing or two about my dad. I know that over the course of 25 years he has never left my side, never faltered in supporting me whether he saw eye to eye with me or not. He has helped me whenever I have needed him, and even in the times when I didn’t know I needed him. He has helped me solve problems in sports, school, and overall life, that I had no idea even had answers. While I may not be the most political savvy person, I know my dad has the qualities and character to lead us all. As I have said, my dad has always gone to the plate for me whenever I needed him, and I am more than honored to do the same for him now.
I have voulenteered, along with several other young people in the state, to raise $1,000 for my dad’s campaign. Today I am asking you for a $25.00 donation. Believe me, I know money isn’t easy to come by, or easy to part with, but I wouldn’t come to you if this didn’t mean the world to me. (you can donate more than $25.00 if you want to…)In the grand scheme of things, $25.00 is a small price for helping change the lives of all Hoosiers.
I know we might not all share the same political beliefs or have the same political knowledge, but this isn’t about politics for me. This is about me reaching out to you as a friend and asking for your help. This is about me giving back to a man that has given me more than I could ever repay him for.
I am proud to call Jim Schellinger my dad, and with your help, Indiana will be proud to call him our Governor!
