<blurb>A good friend of mine, Josh Segall, is running for Congress in the Third District of Alabama. He was one year above me at Brown. He was president of the Democratic Club, so we did a lot of organizing together. He is the one who convinced me to go down to Texas after graduation (you can thank him for cowboy boot obsession I have); he was the assistant field manager on the campaign down there. Anyway, he went to law school, clerked and now is running for Congress.

He has a shot in the general! The district was drawn to be competitive, there is 33% African-Americans (who, as you know, tend to vote Democratic). He lost in 2008 by 46-54 after starting the race mid-year, so this is doable with a little help. Even $5-10 will make a difference!

Thank you and Keep Fighting the Good Fight,
David
