Enough is enough

I've finally given in and decided that it's time to participate in the political process, not just by voting, but by actively trying to help candidates that I believe can make a difference. As Barack Obama said, "Eight is enough": the past eight years *have* been enough of this particular approach, this particular ideology, etc. It's time for a change, and that change involes:

- supporting a presidential candidate who will make change (and more importantly, will appoint supreme court justices to balance out the current conservatives)

- but the presidential campaign isn't sufficient - it's also time to support candidates in all of those other races - there are three branches of the government, and we need to support the legislative branch as well.

The way to make this difference is not just by putting my money where my mouth is, but hoping that the rest of you will also put *your* money where you believe as well.

I've highlighted the races where a donation could likely make a critical difference, both at the national level, but also at a state-level. Feel free to use this as a one-stop shop, or as a starting point for your own investigations. And I'm happy to chat about this more as I learn more myself! This page will be updated over time, as I learn more, etc.

Thx for at least looking, and thinking about participating in the political process.

3 words: supreme court justices. The court is best served when it has balance, and view points from either side to push each other to more fully explore an issue.
