On June 7, 2008,with the help of hundreds of Massachusetts State Convention delegates and the nationwide assistance of Progressive Democrats of America, Ed O'Reilly became the first person in 24 years to mount a primary challenge to Sen. John Kerry.

To do so, Ed needed to win a minimum of 15 percent of the vote at the Massachusetts State Convention. With the progressive movement behind him, he got 22.53 percent.

Ed's campaign is based on thinking outside the beltway, on demanding accountability from Washington, on getting our troops and contractors out of Iraq, on finally delivering single-payer health care to all residents of the United states.

Health Care, not Warfare.

You can help to keep this campaign growing by making a 2253 contribution. When 2,253 people each contribute $22.53, Ed will be able to operate five offices around the state. If another 225 people contribute $225.30, he'll be able to put signs on 33,000 lawns. And if just 22 people contribute $2,253, Ed's radio message will be heard by drive-time commuters all over Massachusetts.

Please help this effort to take back our government. Join Ed's 2253 club and make a contribution today.

Thank you,

Progressive Democrats of America
