Anna Song brings a fresh yet experienced voice to California politics. Now in her eighth year of elected service on the Santa Clara County Board of Education, Anna is uniquely positioned to represent the many cities of the 22nd Assembly District.

Anna, now 39, immigrated to California from Korea at the age of 13. She learned English, earned her college degree and now serves as California's first Korean-born female elected official. Anna registered as a Democrat on the day she took the oath of U.S. citizenship and she has been actively involved in Democratic Party leadership ever since.

Anna's first passions are her sons Nicholas, 5, and Timothy, 1. As her husband, I can attest that Anna's focus as a young mom will serve our state well when she joins the Legislature. This is a race where your dollars can make the difference. With more than 2/3 of Democratic female legislators termed-out of office this year, Anna's election is even more important.
