I already have a spine, and a heart. On any vote on the Iraq war, or in any other situation that might put our troops in harm’s way, my guiding principle will be, “If I wouldn’t send my child, I won’t send yours.” When the lives of America’s sons and daughters are at risk, we must “Do what is right, let the consequences follow.”
The only way to end the war is to elect courageous people to congress who have a spine to vote their heart. I am that person: “Put me in Congress, I’ll vote to end the war.” Steve Young
