Pingree is running against 5 men. She is a champion for reproductive rights, single payer healthcare systems, and ending the Iraq War. Pingree is supported by Emily&amp;apos;s List, NOW, National Women&amp;apos;s Political Caucus, and the Feminist Majority. In addition to serving one term in Congress, Byrne has served four terms in the Virginia House of Delegates and one term in the Virginia Senate. Byrne was Director of the U.S. Office of Consumer Affairs during the Clinton Administration. She supports reproductive rights, withdrawing the troops from Iraq within 60-90 days, enforcing consumer protections, and improving access to healthcare. She is supported by the Feminist Majority, NOW, Emily&amp;apos;s List, Women&amp;apos;s Campaign Forum, NWPC, and AFSCME (VA).  Byrne is running neck and neck with her major primary opponent. This race is considered a toss-up in the general election.</pageblurb>
