The former governor of New Hampshire is running against incumbent Senator John Sununu, who has is no friend to DC Congressional voting rights. Sununu voted against the DC Voting Rights Act both in committee and in the Senate's vote on cloture. As a New Englander, one would think he'd be sympathetic to our taxation without representation plight. It's time to dump him and send Governor Shaheen to Washington.

Nebraska Senator Chuck Hagel, who voted against the DC Voting Rights Act, is retiring. Let’s replace him with Scott Kleeb, a fourth-generation Nebraskan, who grew up listening to his grandfather’s homesteading stories –tales of community, patriotism and public service– and learned the values that would come to shape his life. He’ll be a good friend to the people of the District of Columbia.
