The amazing rise in youth turnout in 2008 didn't appear out of nowhere and it's not all about Obama. Many activists and nonprofits worked for years to establish best practices and create this growing youth movement. One of those groups is the Young Voter PAC.

The Young Voter PAC supports candidates up and down the ballot who reach out to young voters and include us as an important part of their campaign strategy. Beyond cutting a check to youth-friendly candidates, YVP works to make sure that all campaigns are up to speed on the best practices for engaging young voters.

We want politicians to pay attention to young people, and we want young people to have a voice in campaigns. Young Voter PAC is one way to change the faces of elections: who participates and who wins.
