I am certain people will ask, why in the world is a Conservative Republican supporting Democrat John Edwards for President?
That is simple for me to answer. We need, this country needs someone who came from nothing and succeeded on the strength of dedication and hardwork. We need someone who understands what we as middle income Americans endure each day, the struggles to support our families, the concerns we have for the future, the concern we have for homeland security, for terrorist threats and for the economic and moral health of this country. I am convinced that John Edwards is that someone.
You hear him speak and can sense the genuine concern he has for his family, his neigbors, for all of us. You can see the true love he has for his family and his country. And, you can see the spirit and enthusiasm he has to move this country forward, that he understands the greatness of its people and its rich history as well as its future.
Yes, there is a simple reason why I a Conservative Republican supports John Edwards, he gets it, he understands the big picture and he wants to fight for all of us. I in turn want to fight to make him President!
