This is our big chance to change direction in Northwest Ohio! Let’s join together to send Robin Weirauch to Washington!
For decades we’ve languished under business-as-usual leadership. We’ve wished our district could send someone to Congress to support the real interests of rural and small-town voters. Now, with Robin running for an open seat, there has never been a better chance to make our dream come true.
Our 5th District boasts some of the world’s best farmland, alongside rare natural beauty, like the Oak Openings region. We need to send someone to Congress who understands our unique resources, someone who will stand up for environmental protection and wise economic development. With her unquestioned integrity and years of experience in rural opportunity, no one is better qualified than Robin to accomplish this goal.
The Republican leadership watched while factory dairies set up their polluting operations throughout our countryside—as if the Maumee and Blanchard Rivers were not vital natural resources for all of our people. Republicans did nothing while manufacturing declined across Ohio, with good-paying jobs shipping out overseas, leading to unemployment rates among the highest in the nation. Republicans rubberstamped Bush’s war in Iraq, sending our young people into harm’s way. They continue to vote to send trillions of taxpayer dollars down the drain in a civil war on foreign soil.
