Elect Scott Harper in IL-13

This is going to be one of the biggest races in Illinois in 2010. Scott has earned the support of the DCCC by running such a good campaign in 2008. That scared the Republicans so much they've thrown the weight of the NRCC behind Judy Biggert. The difference is they're already holding big money fundraisers for her with invitations for all the lobbyists and PACs and Harper has to prove to the DCCC he can raise the kind of money he did last time to get the DCCC's help at the end.

He needs our support now, in the early running to put the pieces in place for a successful campaign. The Republicans have an established machine out here in the Chicago suburbs, but we can build on the list of volunteers Scott attracted last year and our growing local party organizations.
