Over the past nine months, you have watched me fight for your voting rights. As your Congresswoman, you can count on me to make sure your children and grandchildren have a better life. I promise to fight to continue to get the truth about our elections, the truth about Iraq, and why Americans do not have better healthcare options. America and the voters here in Florida deserve better than what happened to them last November. Please help me prove we can do better this time around.
In order to continue the fight to end the Iraq war, to make health care more affordable, to protect a woman’s right to choose, and to preserve our environment I am continuing to seek this Congressional seat and the right to represent the people of Florida’s 13th District.
Here are some things you should know about my opponent:
•Vern Buchanan spent $5.4 million of his own money on the 2006 election.
•He has already raised over $800k against me for 2008.
•He has voted in lock step with the Bush administration over 90%of the time already this term.
