In light of its many serious issues, Alabama desperately needs intelligent, open-minded, and fresh representation to U.S. Congress that unifies the interests of Alabamans in all walks of life. I know Josh personally and I feel he can help move Alabama in a better direction, particularly given his long-time connection to the area, his background (schooling at Brown, work on the Feingold/Wellstone campaigns, work with former Gov. Warner), his position on the issues (anti-war, pro-heath care, pro-small farmer, etc), and his interest in hearing what people around him have to say. Alabama currently has terrible representation at the federal level (with the exception of Artur Davis and recently retired Bud Cramer) and Josh could help change that. Also, Josh’s run for Congress was recently named a “race to watch” by the DCCC, which shows how legitimate his run is viewed nationally.
