Hi. It’s December already. 2007 has flown by. It’s been a busy 8 months traveling across our great state to fairs, parades, forums, conferences and activities and I look forward to the next 6 months, but I need your help to win. There are only about 6 months until the primary election (June 3, 2008). I hope that you are promoting the Juneau for Superintendent Campaign with your friends and family.
As with all other campaigns, I must request your contribution. I wish that elections could be won or lost by forums and debates. Indeed, those opportunities do allow an outreach to those in attendance, and I welcome those events. However, it is important to carry our message to our larger audience throughout Montana. To win, I need your support for TV commercials, radio ads, newspaper ads, websites, and literature.
I want people in Montana to know that my top priority will be to advocate for students and teachers in our schools. I want to make sure that ALL students have an equitable and quality education. I want to make sure that the people of our great state know and understand our public education system is first-class. I want Montana to know that teaching is a profession worth protection.
The maximum contribution in each race (primary and general) is $250 per individual. However, any contribution you can give helps us to spread the word of the Juneau for State Superintendent Campaign. You can go online and contribute at www.juneauforkids.com, or just mail your contribution to “Juneau for Superintendent” to PO Box 223, Helena MT 59624. Remember, that, by law, we need your occupation and job title for reporting purposes.
Contribution law also allows your first $100 to be tax deductible (MCA 15-30-121(d)), which is another great reason to give at the end of the year.
