She has never ceased to live up to my expectations as a legislator and is a rising star in the party.</p> <p>This year she faces a primary challenge. While I am generally in favor of contested primaries, this one makes no sense on any level. Rachel is a phenomenal legislator who is both attentive to her constituents and cognizant of the big picture. (In addition to committee assignments, Rachel serves as Chair of the Missouri House Legislative Campaign Committee in which she is responsible for recruiting and helping to support candidates for office.)
