We need representation in the US Senate that better reflects the progressive values of Oregon.
1-Fiscal Discipline:
If our state can balance the budget, the Federal Government can too.
Republicans, no matter what they say, have a proven track record of jeopardizing our nations’ future with irresponsible deficit spending:
Reagan 1 trillion, Bush 4 trillion, Bush 10 trillion.
The treasure and wealth of our great nation is being squandered to sustain a military presence in over 200 countries, and by giving tax breaks to millionaires and multinational corporations.
Borrowing from China to buy oil from Saudi Arabia leaves America Broke.
We need clean energy that creates jobs in Oregon.
2-Peaceful Coexistence:
War is not the answer to every problem, and should be declared by Congress.
3-Health care for ALL American Citizens.
We are the only 1st world nation that refuses health care to our people when they are sick.
Billions go down the drain and overseas that must be used to provide for our people.
4-Take back our Government!
We need Merkley to change the priorities of our Federal Government and put an end to this government of the, for the and by the ….millionaires, foreign countries, oil and pharmaceutical companies.
