On the other hand, Ms. Pryce's opponent this year - Franklin County Commissioner Mary Jo Kilroy, provides a strong truly independent voice for the people. She manages the county where Columbus, Ohio is and that county has been rated one of the five best managed counties in the country. Under her leadership, she has balanced 14 of 14 budgets. Because Deborah Pryce is in the leadership in the Bush Republican Congress, Ms. Pryce has an enormous financial advantage over Ms. Kilroy. The latest polls show the race about even, but Ms. Kilroy cannot get her message out without financial support.
