Tom is making an unprecedented effort for a Democrat in Springfield, Morton, Marple and Radnor by knocking on as many doors as he can. This is a hot, kind of lonely process that involves a lot of walking and getting lost- particularly in Radnor- as well as dodging dogs, cars and breaking into the occasional house.
