Frank Kratovil is the elected State’s Attorney in Queen Anne’s County, MD. He is for implementing the results of the bi-partisan Iraq Study Group Report, leading to a withdrawal of our troops; he is passionate about environmental issues, especially with regard to Maryland’s beloved Chesapeake Bay; he strongly supports the goal of universal health care coverage; and is a strong believer that reaching across the aisle to engage the other side works much better than the partisan politics that have gridlocked the system.
He has been endorsed by the Maryland State Teachers Association, National Education Association Fund for Children and Public Education, the Maryland-District of Columbia AFL-CIO, and State and County leaders throughout Maryland. His opponent, on the other hand, has been endorsed by James Dobson.
There has never been a clearer choice in the First Congressional District of Maryland. Frank’s opponent will focus on right-wing wedge issues that are not solving the problems of this country, and his opponent won’t care that he is using these issues to avoid tackling the real problems facing us. That tired, recycled brand of politics will choose instead to separate us rather than bring us together to make America stronger…that type of candidate will choose instead to wage an ideological battle nurtured in ignorance, and it is time to say NO.
