Tom Geoghegan is a good candidate who needs your help. Some years ago, I contacted Tom after reading his book, WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON? TRYING TO BE FOR LABOR WHEN IT'S FLAT ON ITS BACK. I was writing a play about unions (THE FEAST OF SAINT JOSEPH), for which he generously provided me with details and resources about the history of coal mining unions in Appalachia. But, that's not why I'm supporting Tom. I'm supporting Tom Geoghegan because he stood up in opposition to the Iraq War before it happened, he stands with the Progressive Democrats of America (PDA - of which I am a member) on labor union rights, and he supports single-payer health care for all. He is smart, a creative thinker, and a brilliant writer on subjects we care about, like citizen democracy and labor organizing. Tom is a true progressive.
