All indications are that, with our continued hard work, John Kerry will be the 44th president of the United States. However, in order not to allow the Republicans to do to Kerry what they so successfully did to Bill Clinton in the 90’s, we need to get back the Senate and House.
This is a critical time in our country’s history. The Republicans have spent 30 years building up an electoral infrastructure and changing the political language so as to give the the term “conservative” the moral high ground in the minds of a majority of the electorate. Patriots like George Soros are readying return fire in that fight. But it will take action by all of us, especially those of us with the means to contribute, to take back our country.
In these closing days of the campaign please give liberally to the fight against those who would repeal the political gains of the last seventy years. I personally will do everything in my power to help save our democracy. I ask you to do no less.

This race is of personal interest to me, as Jerry is trying to unseat the only Republican congressman in the San Francisco Bay Area. His opponent, Richard Pombo, is not just any Republican. He is the chair of the House Resources Committee, and is about as anti-environment and right-wing as they come.
Jerry McNerney, Ph. D (Mathematics), on the other hand, is a centrist Democrat and a seasoned entrepreneur in the field of Wind Power. His career has been spent bringing the sustainable resource of Wind Power to the point that it is now a viable alternative to conventional power sources. Concerning the environment, and energy policy in particular, he knows whereof he speaks. You can learn more about Jerry at:

Please join me in helping Jerry bring a New Energy to the congress.

A Democratic Senator from Oklahoma? Yes, Oklahoma. Brad’s opponent, Tom Coburn, is apparently to unstable and right-wing even for the heartland. The election is running neck-and-neck and Brad’s election would be a Senate pickup for the Democrats, as this election will replace the retiring Republican Don Nickles.

Kentucky? Yes again! This is a very possible pickup for the Democrats due to recent revelations of current Republican Senator Jim Bunning’s declining mental faculties. Bunning actually ran from the scheduled face-to-face debate with Dan and literally phoned it in from Washington, where he used a telepromptor for (at least) his opening and closing statements.
The momentum in this race is in our direction, but funding is vitally needed. Please help Dan win the seat and, hopefully, the Senate for the Democrats.

Rep. Joe Hoeffel (D) is challenging incumbent Sen. Arlen Specter®, who narrowly survived a bloody primary challenge.
As Grassroots Mom on dailyKos.com just said:

Kerry is going to have coattails. ACT, MoveOn and the State Democratic Party are all on the ground everywhere, even here in the “Alabama” part. Arlen Spector’s number are plummeting, but Joe Hoeffel NEEDS CASH NOW. In the latest Keystone Poll, Specter was only polling at 44% and dropping. Hoeffel is still trails, but is within striking distance and closing fast.

SD-Sen (Map)

Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle (D) is defending his seat against former Rep. John Thune®. The campaign has been marred by the kinds of Republican electoral fraud that has been hitting in many places in the country. This is a seat we can’t afford to lose.

SC-Sen (Map)

State Superintendent Inez Tenenbaum (D) is facing Rep. Jim DeMint® for the seat of retiring Sen. Fritz Hollings (D). This seat must be defended from the Republicans! Fortunately this is possible, even in South Carolina, the State of my birth btw, due in part to the advocacy by DeMint of the replacement of the income tax by a national sales tax(!).
Please help Inez win this important seat, and not allow the Republicans to pick up a seat in the Senate.
