A former Special Assistant to Gen. Wesley Clark and commissioned Naval Officer with 24 years on active duty, Eric is one of the sixty-plus "Fighting Dem's" veteran candidates running for Congress across America. Eric worked on the staff of the Armed Services Committee, and as a result of his disagreement with plans for the Iraq war and the treatment of returning veterans, he left his position on the Armed Services Committe and became a strong critic of the Bush administration's handling of national security.
