Although I have not lived in the Fifth District for many years now, I am actively supporting Niki Tsongas for Congress for many compelling reasons. Niki is smart, thoughtful, and compassionate. She will make the right decisions on a host of issues that I know you also care about such as ending the war in Iraq, finding a way to provide quality health care for all, and improving our nation’s schools.
But, most importantly, I am supporting Niki because she will serve as a voice for woman in Congress. It may be hard to believe but the Mass. delegation has not had a woman representative in twenty-five years!
Whether you live in the Fifth District or not, I am hoping you will share my interest in changing that history and ensuring that voters send a Massachusetts woman to Washington.
