Amy Klobuchar is running for the US Senate seat vacated by Mark Dayton (D-MN). I have listened to Amy speak several times, and have spoken to her at length. I believe she is a good person, and a strong, independent leader. The Republican candidate, Kennedy, almost never votes against President Bush, and has raised well over 30% more than Klobuchar. If we do not act soon, the State of Humphrey, Mondale, and Wellstone, Republicans may occupy the the Senate and the Governor's Mansion alike.
