Missouri is one of four states that former Clinton strategist Henry Sheinkopf sees as critical to winning in 2008. Plus there is a Governor’s race coming up. We won big when we defeated Senator no-Talent, but it was a close one. Missouri’s Republican Party is among the most corrupt in the nation, which makes it vulnerable. So let’s build now to win big in Missouri. The Republicans have nothing but corruption and a message of fear. Democrats have a message of raising the minimum wage for working Americans, making education more affordable for working Americans, and making health care more affordable for working Americans. Let’s help the Democratic Party bring that message to the people of Missouri.

Missouri’s Republican Governor is a member of the corrupt Blunt family (father of Roy Blunt, Corrupt Congressman of MO-7). The Blunts are a PRIME example of the Republican culture of corruption, but until recently Missouri seemed to love them. Well, the love affair seems to be over. Blunt’s popularity is plunging and Nixon’s is rising. Missouri deserves better than Corrupt Blunt. Nixon is the current Attorney General and has been investigating Republican corruption already. 2008 looks to be the year Missouri turns around.
