On April 6, 2006 George W. Bush convened a town hall meeting at Central Piedmont Community College in downtown Charlote, North Carolina. He expected a very favorable, controlled setting in order to sell his ongoing war in Iraq.

He expected a Norman Rockwell moment. Boy, did he get one.

Bush thought the war in Iraq was a great idea. Harry Taylor, along with many North Carolians then and many, many more now, had a different opinion entirely. Harry intended to give the President a piece of his mind. And that's just what Harry did.

Harry Taylor spoke as it is the right of any average American citizen to do: truth to power.

That is just the sort of representation in Congress that America needs and the 9th Congressional District of North Carolina deserves.

I am presently looking to raise $1,000 for Harry Taylor in order to help Republican Sue Myrick begin her well-deserved retirement.
